Luxury brand – international user research and web site usability evaluations
Clear Choice Usability has been researching luxury brand websites over the last 4 years to understand user needs / wants, as well as what makes for the best user experience.
The research included websites for Audi, Bang & Olufsen, BMW, Cartier, Chanel, Lexus, Porsche, Rolex, Tag Heuer.

User interviews and usability testing was conducted with over 40 people who have bought or who were looking to buy luxury brand products.
The research has provided insights into the psychology and behaviour of people who buy luxury products, as well as factors that make it easier for potential customers to find products and to foster their interest towards a purchase.

The research also provided insights into the social aspects of the way people use luxury brand products. Organisations can use these insights to improve customer experience design and increase sales.
The research has been presented to Bang & Olufsen at their design headquarters in Denmark, as well as to the Usability Professionals Association in Australia.
